Breastfeeding Clinic Now Seeing Patients at Liberty Campus
Liberty joins the Main Campus, Green Township, Mason and Northern Kentucky to offer breastfeeding medicine support to mothers and babies. Dr. Sarah Lawler, a general pediatrician and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, will see patients on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Neither the mother, nor the baby, need an actual referral from the baby’s or mother’s PCP. Since you do not know when a mother may have issues, we recommend giving the mother the number at the first newborn appointment (on green patient scheduling pad) and let the mother call as needed. Both mom and baby are patients and are seen in the same appointment slot.
Please note that Breastfeeding Medicine does not perform a frenotomy; evaluations for this go to the ENT clinic. Breastfeeding Medicine and ENT work closely together before and after this procedure to help with other issues related to breastfeeding, but the patient will have the procedure done by ENT.
A flyer is available with additional details about the clinic, including a map of locations. For all of our clinic locations, call 513-636-2326.
