Happy Holidays from the Allergy and Immunology Team.
Heading into the new year, we are excited to announce that we have added Tree Nut oral immunotherapy (OIT) to our protocol list. Since many labels state may contain tree nuts, desensitization to tree nuts has the potential to significantly open patients’ diets to more food options.
In our outpatient clinics we offer multi-food OIT for many of our patients. This allows patients to desensitize to multiple foods simultaneously which reduces the number of visits required.
