Alessandro de Alarcon, MD, MPH, has accepted the position as Associate Chief of Staff, Periop-Surgery. He assumed the role on July 1, 2023.
Dr. de Alarcon joined the faculty in July 2008 after completing a fellowship in Pediatric Otolaryngology at Cincinnati Children’s and has developed into an internationally recognized academic airway and voice surgeon with over 120 publications and NIH funding in pediatric voice disorders and recurrent respiratory papillomatosis. Alessandro has taken formal leadership training and has held several leadership roles at Cincinnati Children’s.
