New A1C Testing Options Available at Cincinnati Children's Hospital
Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center will now be offering two unique Hemoglobin A1C testing options. We have traditionally only offered testing by the capillary zone electrophoresis method. We are now offering a rapid (24/7) testing option. This stat-eligible test is an enzymatic test that is intended to support rapid medical decisions. When ordering, please specify which test you would like ordered, enzymatic or electrophoresis.

Turnaround time: Testing performed Sun. – Sat. results reported within 4 hours of sample receipt.
