New Medical Director for Community Integration, Division of Hospital Medicine - Dr. Michelle Parker

Michelle Parker, MD, has been a member of the Division of Hospital Medicine for the past decade. In her new role as medical director, a position previously held by Craig Gosdin, MD, MSHA, she continues the Division of Hospital Medicine’s commitment to a strong partnership with colleagues in the community. In this role she supports physicians who round on inpatients as well as continues to focus on meaningful and timely communication with primary care providers of patients admitted to Hospital Medicine. Additionally, she also hopes to incorporate best evidence to improve care collaboration around the outpatient/inpatient interface, for diagnoses with relevant evidence updates.
