ADHD Summer Treatment Program
The Center for ADHD at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital again will be providing our evidence-based award-winning ADHD Summer Treatment Program (STP) for the 6th year! This program directly targets difficulties commonly experienced by children with ADHD in a camp-like setting. Children enjoy the recreation of team sports while learning rules and building athletic skills. They express creativity through arts and crafts and attend the Academic Learning Center each day. During each activity (including transitions, lunch, and social situations), children receive direct clinical intervention. We have a two to one child-to-staff ratio, as well as two onsite licensed clinical psychologists. Virtual parent group sessions (75 minutes) are offered once a week throughout the program to help parents learn effective behavior management techniques. We have been working with physicians in infectious disease to put safety protocols in place given the COVID-19 pandemic.
Families can e-mail us at ADHDSTP@cchmc.org to start the eligibility process! Feel free to view our website that has videos and additional information: http://www.cincinnatichildrens.org/STP
